[London, United Kingdom] – Thursday 21st November 2024: The Diary Of A CEO, Europe’s No.1 podcast and the fastest growing podcast globally has reached the one billion views and listens milestone across Apple, Spotify and YouTube. In so doing, The Diary OF A CEO becomes the first UK produced show to hit such a milestone and Steven Bartlett also becomes the first black and British podcast host to reach such a landmark.
In addition, Apple have once again confirmed Diary Of A CEO as the UK’s top podcast for the third year in a row in terms of downloads.
Steven Bartlett launched The Diary Of A CEO in 2017, with the aim of interviewing entrepreneurs within the UK’s business landscape. Originally an audio-first show, Bartlett quickly saw its potential and made the transition to developing the podcast into a video-first experience for viewers to follow along on YouTube in 2019.
The podcast has since attracted huge global experts and talent from an array of sectors including the likes of Simon Cowell, Jada-Pinket Smith, Boris Johnson, Seth Rogan, Maisie Williams, Thierry Henry, Richard Branson and many more well-known personalities across numerous different industries, as well as platforming global experts that have gone on to amass millions of views like neuroscientist Dr Tara Swart, Dr Vonda Wright and Simon Galloway.
The Diary Of A CEO is Europe’s No.1 podcast and is the second largest podcast globally on YouTube. In November 2023, Diary Of A CEO was Apple’s no.1 show and most followed podcast in the UK, also ranking 9th globally in Spotify’s 2023 Wrapped. The popular podcast brand now has more than 8 million subscribers on YouTube and has published nearly 600 episodes.
